Chelsea Handler show, “Uganda Be Kidding Me,” is part of Handler’s new deal with Netflix in which she will eventually create a talk show for Netflix. The new talk show is expected to be available in early 2016.

Chelsea Handler the former host of E!’s “Chelsea Lately” will produce a series of comedy-documentaries for Netflix. Handler hopes to develop a better understanding about a variety of topics from NASCAR to politics and from Silicon Valley to the NBA draft.

Handler recently told Stern she went to Netflix because, “I feel like I’m smarter than what I’m doing, and I feel like I’m getting dumber. There’s not enough well-roundedness in what I was doing. I like human interest, global issues, and politics. I want to learn a lot.”

For Netflix this is just one more in what is becoming a long list of original content. This deal with Handler dose fill two spots missing in Netflix original line up comedy and documentaries. With the recent announcement of 4 original movies from Adam Sandler Netflix is making a hard play to offer something original to every market.
