Today Dailymotion announced that they are launching a new app for Android TV devices including Sony Smart TVs and the Nvidia Shield. This is all apart of an effort by Dailymotion to relaunch as a place to find the best of the web’s content together in a single destination.

“Dailymotion’s mission is to bring people closer to the storytellers and publishers they love, empowering them to discover the web’s best video content within a single destination,” said Guillaume Clément, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Dailymotion. “Our Android TV experience is yet another means for our community to discover fresh, new content every day, anyway they choose.”

As apart of this new app Dailymotion is rolling out several new features:

A focus on must-see video content across four main verticals: news, sports, music, and entertainment.

Continuous watching: Enjoy a seamless experience across all screens. Videos will now autoplay the next video in the playlist.

A revamped user interface that prioritizes content discovery and personalized recommendations.
