The series stars Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross and special guest star Laurence Fishburne. (ABC/Adam Taylor) MARSAI MARTIN, MARCUS SCRIBNER, YARA SHAHIDI, ANTHONY ANDERSON, MILES BROWN, TRACEE ELLIS ROSSThis morning reports started to flood in about a new wave of locals being added to DIRECTV NOW. As best we can tell AT&T added ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates in several new markets last night.

From talking with several readers it looks like ABC affiliates from Morris Multimedia have been added. More Grary Television CBS affiliates, Cunningham Broadcasting FOX affiliates, and Corderilla NBC affiliates have also been added.

This may be the largest single day add of locals DIRECTV NOW has ever done according to what we are hearing from our readers. Some markets like Lexington/Hazard Kentucky added multiple locals overnight. Other markets like Atlanta found CBS this morning when they woke up.

Update: We can add Columbus Ohio to the list of new Fox locals.

We are still working on building a full list. If you found a new local on DIRECTV NOW this morning please leave us a comment and let us know what market and what affiliate was added.

Cord Cutters News is reaching out to AT&T for comment and will update this list as we learn more. Thank you to all of our readers who messaged us with updates on new locals being added.

yeah and even then if it doesn’t come oh well……….would be nice though regardless don’t get me wrong……YouTube TV has it, as I tried them out for the trial, so at least know Sinclair is likely to try negotiating for the CW, probably just a matter of time………

  • Charles Knebel

Add to the list NO channels for Flint-Saginaw-Bay City, MI market.

  • Doug Lambert

CBS and FOX added in Dayton, OH. CBS is owned and operated by Cox Media. FOX is owned by Cunningham Broadcasting and operated by Sinclair.

Debating whether to go back to cable at this point. No stream service is perfect. One provider doesn’t have Viacom channels and others sacrifice some sports channels and no locals. Local sports are also difficult for me with antenna…the tower is far from where I live. The cost for my needs is about the same with streaming services versus cable. My brother recently changed back to cable because of the same pricing and the lack of channels needed. The convenience and dvr capabilities are another difference.

    • Malignar

I would probably go back if I were you. Especially if you can find cable that cheap. In my area it was about $90+ a month for cable with the channels that I needed. I’m now paying $50 for DTVN and the picture even looks a bit better. I desperately miss pausing live tv though.

      • David Sosa

Where I live I can get uverse for $55 cable and all sports I need plus dvr option free.

Any chance Houston is getting the local NBC or CBS?

No CW either, I take it?

  • If you are a resident of Lexington Kentucky and a DIRECTV NOW subscriber, or considering a move to DIRECTV NOW, you should be very happy today. 3 out of the 4 networks appeared like magic. Go Big Blue!

  • Paul Wells

    Knoxville, TN got CBS today!

  • Michele Barger-Segraves

We still do not get any locals in Williamsport PA

Glad to finally see CBS Atlanta to round out local channel selection. Hoping to see DTVN get current bugs worked out in Q1, 2018 release. I’m still seeing frequent buffering issues during “prime time” which usually runs between 9 – 11 PM EST. Is an annoyance with live streaming, but causes havoc with on-demand. I’m on gigabyte fiber with hardwired Roku. No other app buffering issues.

I live in Lexington, KY. As of last night we now get our local NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX programming on Direct TV Now. Just waiting for the DVR and new UI updates to make this my final break from Spectrum for good.
