Disney is working hard to get people to try out their DisneyNOW app. The new all-in-one stop for Disney apps takes all of the smaller Disney apps, such as Disney XD and Disney Junior, and puts their content all in one app called the DisneyNOW app.
Disney has thrown in a bonus to get people to try out the new app. With the DisneyNOW app, you can watch the first three seasons of “Star Wars Rebels” 100% free. No sign-in needed.
The DisneyNOW app is currently available on iOSf, Android, Kindle, Apple TV, and Roku players. (Sorry, no Fire TV at this time.)
If you have a subscription to many live TV streaming services, such as Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, or PlayStation Vue, you can log in with your account and access a ton of additional content through the DisneyNOW app.
The DisneyNOW website describes the app as “Your favorite Disney TV shows, DCOMs [Disney Channel Original Movies] and games are now all in one place. DisneyNOW lets you watch whenever wherever with one customizable app made just for you.”
Increasingly more TV services are moving to consolidate apps. FOX recently made the move, and now Disney wants to limiting the number of apps you need.
