Here is a quick breakdown of what is new:
- Grid Guide – We’ve listened to customer feedback and incorporated a traditional grid guide option to allow viewers to quickly browse what’s on now, filter channels by genre and see the upcoming schedule of every channel in one glance.
- Featured Movies and Shows – In the coming weeks, we’re adding new “Featured” content ribbons to MyTV, starting with “Featured Movies” and “Featured Shows,” to make it easier to discover our deep library of on-demand content.
- What’s Hot Now – “On Now” is getting smarter by showing the most popular events and shows first, through added intelligence in our live content sorting system for easy, one-click access.
- Shows Screen – In the next few weeks, we’re launching a new screen dedicated to TV shows. “Shows” will make finding a TV series to watch simple, sorting shows by genres like drama, lifestyle, comedy, crime, sci-fi, action or kids. With more than 31,000 episodes of on-demand shows from Sling, finding a show to watch is more important than ever.
