Hulu is Teasing Their New App

Today Hulu sent out emails to current Hulu subscribers with a new video to give them a early look at the new Hulu app. (Just to be clear this is the new Hulu app not the new Hulu live TV service.)

This new Hulu new app will be available toall users at some point in the future. (Likely soon if they are emailing their subscribers about it.) The new app has been in beta testing for a few months now to get ready for the new Hulu app and UI.

This marks one more step in what seems to be a massive effort to improve and grow the Hulu experience. From a new app to a new live TV option, Hulu seems like it will be a very different service in a few months or maybe even a few weeks.

Details are still thin but you can see some other video of the new Hulu app in the Hulu live TV announcement video.

According to the video the new Hulu App will come to Apple TV*, iOS, Android, Chromecast, and XBOX ONE this spring and coming soon to Fire TV, Roku, PlayStation, Laptops and Computers. (*Only available on 4th generation Apple TV.)

Hopefully soon we will not only get a new Hulu app but the new Hulu live TV service.

Update: We updated this story to break out the devices that will be available this spring vs the devices that will be coming soon.
