PlayStation Vue has dropped the price of its Ultra plan by $10, making it a much more attractive deal.
The PlayStation Vue Ultra plan gives you everything the Elite Slim Plan offers (Elite is typically $44.99) but adds Showtime, HBO, and Epix to the lineup. Normally this plan starts at $64.99 a month, but during this sale you can get the PlayStation Vue Ultra Slim plan for just $54.99 a month. It seems this is for new customers or customers who upgrade to the Ultra Slim package.
The deal is good for one year, and you must sign up before January 15, 2017. If you subscribe before the 15 of January, you will get the $10 savings until January 5, 2018: a $120 savings; however, if you cancel at any time during the discount period the deal is done even if you resubscribe.
This will make the PlayStation Vue Ultra stand out against DirecTV Now once the promotional rate ends and its 100-channel package jumps to $60 a month. With PlayStation Vue offering 90 channels plus HBO, Showtime, and Epix all for just $55 a month.
