Roku Premiere vs Roku Stick: User Speed Test

Recently it was pointed out that I never did a side-by-side comparison of the Roku Stick 2016 vs the Roku Premiere. So I figured what better time to do that than right now.

Today we are going to take a look at what the end user will experience when they buy a Roku Premiere or a Roku Stick 2017 model, the most current Roku Stick on the market. This is not about specs, but rather it is about what experience you will have when you get home.

Here is our side-by-side video review:

So why get the Roku Premiere?

The Roku Premiere is an inexpensive 4K player with a lot of power behind it. While it does not have the point anywhere remote of the Premiere+, it is a powerful 4K streaming player.

So why get the Roku Stick?

Even though the Roku Stick does not have 4K support, it does offer a point anywhere remote something the Premiere does not. The Roku Stick is also small enough to fit into your pocket making it perfect to travel with.

Have a TV mounted on the wall? You can easily tuck the Roku Stick behind your TV reducing the number of wires you need to hide.
