Yesterday Sling TV started to email subscribers who streamed on Channel Master DVRs informing them that soon the Channel Master Sling TV app will no longer work.

Sling TV first added support for the Channel Master DVR at CES back in 2017. Now Sling TV gave no reason why but soon you will no longer be able to watch Sling TV on the Channel Master DVR.

Cord Cutters News has reached out to both Sling TV and CHannel master for comment but at this time both companies have not listed any reasons why they have pulled the app.

Here is part of the email being sent to subscribers that use the Channel Master DVR:

“The time has come for us to bid farewell to one of our devices. Soon, Sling TV will no longer be supported on Channel Master.”

Cord Cutters News will update this post when we learn more.
