Biggest Fall

News over all seemed to be down but CBS Sports fell the farthest from 3rd in December to 9th in January.

Biggest Jump

After not being ranked last month ABC is back in the top 10 Fire TV apps and jumped up to #5.

Overall this may be one of the biggest shakeups since we started these lists. Apps such as PBS Kids and Twitter drop out; however, and for the first time ever the local TV app WWSB TV dropped out of the top 10 Fire TV apps.

Meh. Amazon needs to get on the ball with apps and support. Roku is far ahead. I just signed up for Crunchyroll, which is pretty much universally supported. Guess what? Amazon doesn’t even have an app for it for their devices. Comcast’s streaming service is not available, but it is on android. The list goes on and on. I have two Rokus and 2 Fire devices. I like the setup of the Amazon devices, but their apps and content are lacking.
