Your Sling TV Login Now Gives You Access to More TV Anywhere Apps

gotham-season-2-FoxIf you are a Sling TV subscriber you can now use your Sling subscription as authentication for even more apps and websites. Giving you access to a ton of additional content on apps like FOX NOW, Natgeo, FXNow, SyFy, Bravo, and more.

Here is a list of apps that Sling TV supports app authentication:

  • FOX NOW (Android TV, Amazon TV, iOS and XBOX 360 only)
  • FXNOW (Amazon Fire Stick, Amazon TV, Android, Android TV, iOS and XBOX 360 only)
  • WatchESPN
  • Bravo and SyFy (iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, Roku, Airplay, Apple TV, Xbox One)
  • Oxygen and NBC Universo ( iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, Airplay)

Website authentication:

To access these apps, start by visiting the affiliated channel’s website, or downloading the compatible application to your device.  Upon opening the website or application, or selecting content within the application, you will be prompted to select your video provider. Select Sling TV, then log in using your Sling TV email address and password.  Your will act as authentication allowing you to access content.

    I’m still hoping for NickJr authentication at some point for Sling accounts. We dropped PSVue for Sling when Vue lost the Viacom channels, but my kids still can’t watch very much Nick content without the app authentication.

    So if you’re on the Orange plan and don’t watch sports there are no apps that authenticate with Sling. 🙄

    It’s maddening that FX would restrict which devices it’ll work with. No Roku love. It’s not that they’d have to write a new app for a new device; it’s already there, ready to go! /ugh
