Last night YouTube TV started to roll out in new markets including Grand Rapids, MI. Google has yet to release a full list of all the markets that have been added but this should push YouTube TV to over 50 markets.
Now this time YouTube TV is not rolling out with all locals. In the Grand Rapids, MI market they only offer ABC and CBS. For Fox and NBC you will only get on-demand access.

Here are the markets they added back in September.
- Portland OR
- Albuquerque
- Austin (Expanded Austin TX Market)
- Birmingham
- Greenville
- Norfolk
- Raleigh
- Sacramento
YouTube TV first launched in April in five markets – New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, and Philadelphia, and expanded into an additional ten markets that included Washington, DC, Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne, Charlotte and Dallas-Fort Worth.
For now it looks like Google is rushing to get YouTube TV out to new markets even if they do not have locals. This is likely an effort to fight back against services like Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, Hulu, and PlayStation Vue to name a few.
This also comes just as YouTube TV is making a major marketing push with MLB to help attract new subscribers.
