children-403582_640 (1)The holidays are coming up and for many that means cold weather and more time in front of the TV. So why not give some other streaming services a shot?

Grab your blanket and popcorn, and let’s check out some new streaming services.

Sling TV

I could not talk about services to try out without listing Sling TV. Streaming live TV starts at just $20 a month (or $25 if you add the sports package). With college football bowl season on the horizon, it is the perfect time to get Sling TV for a month or two so you can watch some really great football. Why not give their 7-day free trial a go this weekend so you can catch all the great games on ESPN?

You can subscribe to Sling TV’s free trial here: Sling TV

Crunchyroll

Do you love anime? Or do you want to give it a try? Crunchyroll is the number 1 streaming service for anime. With hundreds of shows and new content available right after it airs in Japan, Crunchyroll is a service you should check out.

Crunchyroll offers a free 14-day trial and works with PS4, Xbox One, Roku, and more. You can subscribe to Crunchyroll here: Crunchyroll

CBS All Access

CBS has some of the most popular shows of all time, and now they have a great streaming service to let you binge watch their back catalog. If you live in selected markets they even offer a live stream of your local CBS affiliate.

CBS All Access offers a free trial, and it’s a great way to beige watch what they offer. You can subscribe to CBS All Access here: CBS All Access

Showtime Anytime

Showtime is one of my favorite TV networks and the only premium channel we paid for when we subscribed to cable. (Dexter was why we paid for Showtime.) Now they have their own streaming service available on a long list of devices. With access to a huge back catalog of shows and new episodes and movies added regularly, Showtime Anytime is a must-have.

The best part is they offer a free 30-day trial perfect to get you through a cold December. You can subscribe to Showtime Anytime here: Showtime Anytime

HBO NOW

HBO has long been known as one of the best networks on cable and now it’s available online. With HBO NOW you get access to a huge library of older shows and also movies and new episodes added right after they air.

So that is our short list of what you should check out this weekend. Do you have a suggestion for a great streaming service? Post it in the comments so everyone can check it out.
