There’s something about hearing the theme song to your favorite TV show that brings comfort and nostalgia like nothing else. It’s something many people have in common, and some TV show music is much more familiar than others. So what is the most recognizable TV show theme song?

To see what theme songs Americans recognize the most, DirecTV surveyed 2,200 people to see if they can correctly guess the show from a 10 second clip of a theme song.

As it turns out, the clear winner was the catchy thought provoking Jeopardy! theme song. Over 75% of people were able to successfully name that tune in the allotted time (and to be honest it’s probably still stuck in their heads!). If you’re in the mood to test your trivia knowledge, check out all the ways you can stream Jeopardy here.

The second most familiar titles was the iconic Friends theme song, (available on HBO Max) followed by 80s and 90s sitcom Seinfeld which recently moved to Netflix.. In fact, the results show 71% of respondents know the classics, recognizing the theme songs from Friends, Seinfeld, and The Simpsons.

Other interesting findings show that despite the massive success of Game of Thrones, 42% of respondents matched this theme song incorrectly. Bones was the most obscure tune to viewers’ ears, with just 22% of respondents correctly guessing the theme song.
