A James Bond Inspired Competition Show is In the Works at Prime Video

Prime Video is creating a competition TV show based on the James Bond franchise. According to Variety, the “007’s Road to a Million” is a race around the world that will take contestants to many. of the locations featured in the classic Bond films as they compete for the grand prize of £1 million ($1.3 million).

Variety reports, “”the “cinematic format” will be a test of intelligence and endurance. In addition to passing physical obstacles, the contestants — who will compete in two-person teams — must correctly answer questions hidden in different locations around the world in order to advance to the next challenge.”

The series has reportedly been in the works for at Amazon for about 4 years now and isn’t a product of the MGM merger. However, the studio is still taking applications for contestants. If you’ve ever wanted to channel your inner MI6 agent persona, you can apply to compete on the show here.

The eight-part series will be produced by Britain’s 72 Films.
