Why would I switch to that over Hulu? Do you anticipate that these moves to standalone stations will take away from Hulu?

I do not think this will take away from Hulu. I see this as just one more way to reach people who are unwilling to pay for Hulu yet want it on their TV.

Well, the ABC shows that are on Hulu are on here for free. That is pretty significant. Once upon a Time, Agents of Shield, Modern Family, Scandal, General Hospital. Still need Hulu for other network series but if other stations did this, it would make Hulu less of a necessity except for the massive back catalogs and unique programming. What I find interesting viewing the app right now, it has an empty movie field. They must be planning on adding some films to this at some point.

First NBC now ABC. So why am I paying for CBS?

Though I agree that I’ll probably still use Hulu. Unless they so an NBC Blacklist like ploy, where you have to use their channel to watch a particular show.
