Update: We reached out to Sling to ask about the AirTV channel leaving Roku. Sling confirmed that customers were told ahead of time that the channel would be leaving and were given instructions for using their AirTV with the Sling app.
Roku users who use the AirTV to stream to the device may not be happy with a recent change. The AirTV channel is currently missing from the Roku channel store.
A reader who wrote in to let us know says that when he tried to launch the app on his Roku, he got a message that the channel was removed. Going to the link to the AirTV channel on Roku’s website will now direct you to the Roku Channel Store main page.
AirTV users can still stream through the free Sling TV app.
