Amazon is Giving $50 Credits to Everyone Who Purchased a Fire TV Recast

Today Amazon started to inform customers who purchased a Fire TV Recast that they will soon be getting a $50 credit. According to Amazon, this is because the Fire TV Recast will be $50 off just a few weeks after the device was first sold.

Thanks for being a Fire TV Recast customer! The Fire TV Recast you bought is $50 off for Black Friday Deals Week. Since you recently purchased this device at a higher price, we’ve issued a $50 promotional credit to your Amazon account.
Your promotional credit will automatically apply the next time you order an eligible item sold and shipped by The promotional credit doesn’t apply to items offered by other sellers on the website and won’t cover the purchase of gift cards, sales tax, gift wrap, or additional shipping costs.
