Amazon Prime Day is here and there are a ton of great cord cutting deals. The problem may be picking the right deal in the flood of cord cutting deals on the market right now. Here is our quick guide to picking the best cord cutting deals today.

Here are the deals we know about right now. New Prime Day deals will be rolling out all day and we will be posting them on the website and updating this post.

If you find any cord cutting deals during Prime Day, please send us a message through our Contact Us page HERE.

Amazon’s Fire TV Deals

Now that $14.99 Fire TV Stick may sound like the must-get deal of Prime Day 2019, but you should really think of the Fire TV Stick 4K. The Fire TV Stick 4K is a far more powerful streaming player compared to the Fire TV Stick and it supports 4K. Even if your TV does not support 4K, you will be ready if you ever upgrade your TV.

Note: On Amazon Prime Day if you buy a Fire TV you can get a $45 Sling TV Credit that you can be applied to $15 off each month for the first three months of Sling TV. You will be able to get this deal if you buy a Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, or Fire TV Recast. (Likely for new Sling TV subscribers only.)

Also right now for Prime Day if you buy the HD Fire TV Stick from Amazon you can get 2 months of HBO for free. This is a limited time deal and the catch is HBO will auto-renew once the two-month free trial is up if you don’t cancel the HBO subscription.

Roku Prime Day Deals

Again, I recommend paying for extra here. Buying the Roku Stick over the Roku Express for $10 more will give you a far more powerful streaming player. Also, if you want a Roku Stick think about spending the extra money to get the Roku Stick+ because it is far more powerful, offers 4K, and has the best Wi-Fi antenna of any streaming stick we have tested.

DVRs

Currently, the only confirmed DVR sale is the Fire TV Recast. Right now you can get the Fire TV Recast DVR 500GB version for $129.99, typically $229.99. Or you can get the 1TB version with 150 hours of storage for $179.99. The best part is Amazon just added the ability to add external storage through the USB port.

Look for other DVRs to go on sale and keep an eye on our website. We will post updates as we learn more.

Antennas

No antenna manufacturers have announced Prime Day deals but keep an eye open for Mohu, Antennas Direct, RCA, Winegard, and more to have sales. We will be posting updates on the site as we learn more.
