Amazon Prime Video has announced that Agatha Christie’s The Pale Horse will premiere on March 13. The series will have two epsiodes.

The series will be based on Agatha Christie’s 1961 novel “The Pale Horse” with a 2020 update. The Pale Horse follows the story of Mark Easterbrook whose name appears on a list found inside the shoe of a dead woman. He begins an investigation into how and why his name came to appear on the list which leads him to The Pale Horse, the home of three rumored witches.

While skeptical of the paranormal, Mark becomes obsessed with the strange things happening all around him. He questions whether the extraordinary occupancies are the work of the witches, the Pale Horse, or another force. Is Mark next on the list? Can he make sense of what’s happening? Will he find the killer before he becomes a victim?

Rufus Sewell stars in the series, alongside Kaya Scodelario, Sheila Atim, Madeleine Bowyer, Georgina Campbell, Bertie Carvel, Kathy Kiera Clarke, Poppy Gilbert and Sean Pertwee.
