Today Amazon gave us a look at the success of last weeks Amazon Prime Day. According to Amazon Priem Day was its biggest sales day ever when looking at the Fire TV. According to Amazon, they sold millions of Fire TVs (Including all versions of the Fire TV) during the 2-day event. Overall Amazon’s best selling deals worldwide included the Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote, and Fire TV Stick 4K with Alexa Voice Remote.
Amazon also reported that since the Fire TV Edition Smart TVs went up for sale Amazon has sold millions of TVs. During Prime day Amazon sold twice as many Fire TV Edition Smart TVs as they did during 2018’s Prime Day sale.
Amazon also announced that the Fire TV Recast DVR sold had its best day ever on July 15th, 2019. This comes as the Fire TV Recast OTA DVR was at its lowest price ever.
Amazon did stop just short of offering exact shipping numbers but again announced that Amazon’s Fire TV has more than 34 million monthly active users worldwide.
