Today Genesis Motor America, Tastemade, and Amazon Advertising announced a collaboration to launch a new cooking series that viewers can use Amazon Fresh to shop ingredients for. Origins is a five-part social series that will showcase up and coming chefs who tell their story and dive into their roots to cook new and inventive dishes that celebrate their cultures and traditions. You can watch the show on Tastemade’s YouTube and Facebook channels.

The show will have the storytelling approach typical of Tastemade combined with the luxury branding feel of Genesis, all with the convenience of Amazon shopping.

“At Tastemade, we believe every dish provides an opportunity to explore new cultures and traditions, says Jeff Imberman, Head of Sales & Brand Partnerships at Tastemade. “This series was created with the data and soul-driven storytelling approach of Tastemade along with the reach and convenience of Amazon Advertising to present Genesis with a unique, custom approach to their brand storytelling. Thematically aligned with the Genesis brand, the chefs featured in the Origins series exude young luxury and showcase the drive it takes to get to where they are today.”

Amazon Advertising has also created a virtual showroom where customers can learn more about Genesis and can explore Origins; the page also features recipes from meals created on the show with links to each of the ingredients to be added to customers’ Amazon Fresh shopping cart for cooking at home.

This news comes after Tastemade partnered with Walmart earlier this month to create a one-stop shopping experience for holiday meals this season. The largest retail chain and modern media company are collaborated to launch two special holiday episodes of Tastemade’s original show, Struggle Meals where viewers can shop the recipe using Walmart Grocery Pickup.
