Amazon is working to bring more free content to Fire TV customers, now curating that content under a new Free tab. The section is included in the top navigation bar on the Fire TV menu, putting it front and center.
Here’s what you’ll find under the Free tab:
Free Streaming Apps
There are many ad-supported streaming services, and the Free tab will help you quickly navigate to your favorites, or allow you to discover services you haven’t tried yet. IMDb TV, Tubi, Pluto TV, Crackle, The CW, and the News app are just a few of the apps you’ll find in this section.
Curated Content
In the section, Amazon has compiled a library of free movies, TV shows, and more. You’ll find the content organized in rows in categories like new content, popular content, and titles recommended for you. In addition to content that’s always available for free, you’ll find unlocked content from streaming services.
Over 20,000 Titles
In total, you can find over 20,000 free TV episodes and movie titles on Fire TV. You’ll also find free music, apps, news, games, and more. With the Free tab, Amazon is making it easier than ever to find exactly what you’re looking for.
