A few weeks ago it was reported that Apple was working to add sports to their TV app. This week Apple quietly flipped the switch and made it easier to find your game on the Apple TV.

The new Sports tab in the Apple TV app will show you when your favorite team is playing and on what service. Currently you can favorite teams for most major sports including MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, college football, and men’s basketball.

You will also find live scores for current games, and later on alerts will be available to let you know when games you are waiting for start.

The Apple TV Sports tab is available in the latest betas of iOS and TV OS. Apple says they will be rolling out support for more countries by the end of 2017.

To find the new tab you may need to run an update on your Apple TV. You will need to be participating in the Apple TV OS beta to get access to the latest version of the 2017 Apple TV app Sports tab.
