We have heard rumors that Apple was working on a new Apple TV for some time. Now we have a report from MacRumors that seems to have confirmed that a new Apple TV with the code name AppleTV11,1is on its way. According to MacRumors, the AppleTV11,1 code name has appeared in past filings of an internal build of iOS 13 this lines up with leaks reportedly posted on twitter about the new Apple TV.

Now that does not guarantee a launch any time soon but Apple is due for a new Apple TV and has an event planned for next week. According to some rumors posted by Longhorn on Twitter, the new Apple TV will have a faster A12.

The launch of a new Apple TV would lineup well with both the Apple TV+ launch and the new Apple Arcade that is expected to launch this fall. For now we will have to wait and see what happens next.

This is breaking news more will come soon.
