A few months ago Apple Music came to the Amazon Echo devices. Now Apple Music is live on the Amazon Fire TV in the United States. Amazon says Apple Music will come to the Fire TV in the UK in the coming weeks.

To access Apple Music on your Fire TV just ask “Alexa, play today’s hits on Apple Music” or “Alexa, play music by Bebe Rexha on Apple Music.”

Apple is likely facing stiff competition from rival music services. Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube Music, and more. Expanding to more non iOS devices is a huge step for Apple to stand up against a growing number of competitors. According to Apple, their music streaming services hit 50 million subscribers in early 2018 but this is still well behind the 83 million paid Spotify subscribers announced in July 2018.

Do you use Apple Music? Have you tested it out on an Alexa device? Let us know what you think of the service.
