Today Apple rolled out a new beta update to the Apple TV app. The big change is the addition of picture-in-picture that will let you keep watching a show as you look through the Apple TV app for something new to watch. Currently, as best we can tell this is only working in the Apple TV app beta. Hopefully, it rolls out to everyone soon.

The all-new Apple TV app, which brings together all the ways to watch TV into one app, is available starting today in over 100 countries across iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and select Samsung smart TVs. Though we have only heard reports of this new feature currently on the Apple TV version of the Apple TV app.
