Yesterday Apple released a new update to their iOS and tvOS and while most of the features are bug fixes there are a few updates you will notice.

The main update is the new AirPlay 2, a major update to the AirPlay feature, which lets you cast video and audio from an iPad or iPhone to supported devices. AirPlay will now let you stream your audio to multiple devices at the same time. Now your Apple TV and HomePod audio can be synced across the house, so as you move from room to room you will find the audio synced.

You will also soon find that non-Apple speakers will soon support AirPlay, including Bang & Olufsen, Bluesound, Bose, Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Libratone, Marantz, Marshall, Naim, Pioneer, and Sonos.

Beyond the AirPlay 2 update for the Apple TV little has changed. While there seems to be a handful of bug fixes Apple has not singled out any major fixes as best we can tell.
