Do you live in Dallas Texas well you now have access to 5G internet thanks to AT&T. (At least in a few parts of Dallas.) Now AT&T has not released a press release about the launch and details are very thin but AT&T has confirmed to Light Reading that 5G is now live in Dallas Texas.

I did a lot of digging around and was unable to find pricing or terms for the new 5G service in Dallas. It may be that AT&T is trying to be very targeted in what areas they promote the 5G service in to only neighborhoods who have the new service.
AT&T says they plan to sell a Netgear Nighthawk 5G hotspot as its first 5G device but as of today this device is not available for sale. So it is possible that well the service is live it is not really being promoted to customers.
According to AT&T, they plan to roll out 5G internet to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, Raleigh, and Waco by the end of 2018 according to AT&T. We do not know what markets will get AT&T’s 5G service next but it is likely to be one of these towns Atlanta, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, Raleigh, or Waco.
