Do you have AT&T TV NOW on Roku? AT&T has good news for you as they are rolling out an updated user interface with new features to the AT&T TV NOW Roku Channel. One of the most significant changes to the AT&T TV NOW app on Roku is the ability to find recently viewed channels just by pressing up when streaming. This means you can quickly jump between different games/channels without needing to back out the AT&T TV NOW menu.
It also seems that AT&T has made significant improvements to the app as channels now load noticeably faster. The channel guide on AT&T TV NOW has also been updated slightly with a refreshed look.
These changes all come as AT&T has been making updates to the backend of AT&T TV NOW. Recently AT&T confirmed that they are updating the DVR to a new data center. This change lead to some short term glitches with the AT&T TV NOW DVR, but AT&T says, in the long run, this will result in an improved DVR experience for AT&T TV NOW customers.
To get the update on your Roku, go to the Roku home screen and press the * key on your remote when you have the AT&T TV NOW Roku Channel selected. There you will find an option to update the AT&T TV NOW Roku Channel.
