AT&T’s New Live TV Streaming Service AT&T TV Comes With 500 Hours of Cloud DVR, Live TV Streaming, & 55,000 On-Demand Titles & More

Directv now beta boxToday AT&T launched a new website for its AT&T TV live TV streaming service. This new service is separate for the AT&T TV NOW service. AT&T TV NOW is just DIRECTV NOW rebranded as AT&T TV NOW.

AT&T TV is a brand new service that is coming sometime in the next few months. AT&T still has not announced pricing or if there will be a contract but we did learn a lot of new information about AT&T TV today.

What is AT&T TV

AT&T TV is our newest television experience that puts you in control. With access to live TV, thousands of titles on demand, 500 hours of Cloud DVR, and access to other apps like Netflix and Pandora, AT&T TV is your one-stop shop for all things entertainment.* AT&T TV comes with our 4K-enabled next-gen device and voice remote with the Google Assistant built-in.

Do I have to use a specific device to watch TV?

The new AT&T TV experience comes with our next-gen device, so you’re all set to watch on your biggest screen. Always on the go? We have you covered—just download the AT&T TV app to your mobile device or tablet so you can stream anytime, anywhere.

What do I need to get started?

All you need to get started is high speed internet. We recommend a minimum of 8Mbps per stream for optimal viewing. If bundling with AT&T Internet, we recommend the Internet 25 plan or higher for up to 3 concurrent AT&T streams. Higher speeds are recommended and a 4K TV is required for 4K streaming, where available from 3rd-party apps. Check with the 3rd-party provider for internet requirements for streaming in 4K. Visit speedtest.att.com to make sure you’re ready to go.

What is Cloud DVR?

Record up to 500 hours of your favorite movies and shows. There are no limits as to how many shows you can record at the same time, so you’ll never miss out. Also, your recordings will last for 90 days, and you can access that on all of your devices, not just your TV.

Can I watch on other devices?

You can stream AT&T TV anytime, anywhere.* Just download the AT&T TV app on your favorite mobile device or tablet to watch on the go. Plus, you can watch up to 3 different shows on up to 3 different devices at the same time.

What apps can I download with AT&T TV?

The AT&T TV device comes preloaded with your favorite entertainment apps like Netflix and Pandora. You can also access thousands of other entertainment, social media, music, and gaming apps through the Google Play Store with our next-gen entertainment device.
