Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)

This puts his family and the entire animal community at risk from the evil farmers Boggis, Bunce, and Bean, who are determined to capture the audacious, fantastic Mr. Fox. The hit Broadway musical has been moved into movie format in this Disney+ exclusive recorded at the Richard Rodgers Theater on Broadway in June 2016. Hamilton focuses on the life of American founding father and first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. It follows his rise from poverty to leading the American War of Independence. The musical blends a fusion of musical styles, including hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and show tunes.

Inside Out (2015)

The Disney+ movie library includes the entire collection of Pixar movies. The movie follows her emotional struggles as she adjusts to life in a new city.

Miracle on 34th Street (1947)

When a department store’s Santa Clause turns out to be a drunk, a man called Kris Kringle is persuaded into taking on the role by special events director Doris Walker. The movie focuses on Susan’s discovery that there’s something special about the stand-in Santa.

Moana (2016)

Adventurous teenager Moana is the daughter of a chief from a long line of sea navigators. Moana sets out on a mission to persuade Maui to return it, which takes her on an action-packed epic adventure across the Pacific. The animated movie is based on stories from Polynesian mythology.

Queen of Katwe (2016)

Set in a slum in Kampala, in Uganda, this movie focuses on the struggles of 10-year-old Phiona and her family. Her life changes when she meets missionary Robert Katende, who coaches soccer and teaches children to play chess. She becomes fascinated with chess, learns the game, and becomes a top player under Katende’s stewardship.  

Star Wars: Episode V -The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Disney+ is home to all of the Star Wars movie franchise, but the highest rated on Rotten Tomatoes is the second in the original trilogy. It sees Luke Skywalker seek out the wisdom of Yoda for assistance repelling the attack of the Imperial forces led by Darth Vader. The film concludes with an epic battle between Luke and Vader, as well as one of the great movie twists.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Another popular offering from the Marvel franchise is the Thor series, from which Ragnarok is the highest-rated on Rotten Tomatoes. It sees Thor imprisoned on the other side of the Universe without his mighty hammer, which threatens to prevent him from halting the destruction of his homeworld at the hands of the ruthless new villain Hela. He faces a gladiatorial contest against fellow Avenger the Incredible Hulk in an effort to escape and save his people.

Toy Story (1995)

Pixar movie Toy Story is one of the few films to score a perfect 100% from reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes. It focuses on the adventures of a talking cowboy, Woody, and Buzz Lightyear, the coolest space action figure ever made. Woody hatches a plot to get rid of Buzz Lightyear, only to find himself lost in the outside world with only Buzz for company. The duo set out on an adventure to survive and get home.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)

One of the first movies to mix live action with animation, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is based in Toontown. One of its leading citizens, Roger Rabbit, is concerned his wife Jessica is involved with someone else and hires detective Eddie Valiant to snoop on her. Roger soon finds himself framed for the murder of a nightclub owner, and Valiant reluctantly agrees to help him clear his name.
