Boomerang, the cable TV channel that airs classic cartoon shows, recently launched a video on-demand subscription service. With Boomerang you will be able to access a huge library of classic cartoons from places such as Turner and Warner Bros. and shows including “Looney Tunes” and some Hanna-Barbera along with the MGM library.

Now it is adding even more classic shows including “The Jetsons,” which will be coming soon. The best part is even if you are not a subscriber you will be able to watch the first episode of “The Jetsons” for free. You can find that episode HERE.

Boomerang also has announced that it is adding more “Scooby-Doo” and “The Smurfs” to its lineup on top of what you will already find.

This all comes after Boomerang rolled out a streaming app on most streaming players such as Roku and Fire TV.

Here is our hands-on look at the new streaming service:

Boomerang is a beloved brand that has always had multi-generational appeal and some of the greatest animated shows ever created,” said Christina Miller, president of Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Adult Swim. “Our ongoing partnership with Warner Bros around this new premium service continues our strategy of making sure our fans are engaged with fresh and fun content whenever and wherever they want it.”

You can find the Boomerang TV channel on Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, and PlayStation Vue.

You can add the Boomerang Channel to your Roku here: https://channelstore.roku.com/details/149733/boomerang

No date has been set for when the new shows are coming, but they should be soon. If we had to guess—likely in August 2017.
