CBS Interactive Strikes Live Streaming Deal For College & High School Sports

Group of young people watching soccer matchThis week CBS Interactive and Sidearm Sports struck a deal with more than 1,100 college and high school athletic websites to stream more than 14,000 live events every year.

This deal will allow schools to offer their sports events online for fans around the world to watch. The events will be streamed on the SportsLive app on Roku, iOS, and Android you will also be able to watch on the schools’ websites. This deal will also allow schools to raise ad revenue from the streams to help open a new source of income for schools around the United States.
