CBS News today announced that they will offer exclusive coverage of the State of The Union Address only available on CBSN. In the past, CBSN has reaired coverage from CBS of events like the State of The Union. Tonight CBSN will have their own team offer separate coverage of the 2019 State of The Union Address.
Here is the coverage CBSN will be offering tonight:
- CBSN will provide continuous, live coverage beginning at 5:00 PM, ET, with a special edition of RED & BLUE anchored by Elaine Quijano. At 8:00 PM, ET, Quijano and a panel of CBS News reporters and CBSN contributors will preview the speech and discuss the Trump administration’s policies since last year’s address. Beginning at 9:00 PM, ET, Quijano will anchor CBSN’s coverage of the State of the Union address and the Democratic response, after which CBSN will deliver comprehensive analysis.
- CBS News Radio will provide live, anchored coverage starting at 9:00 PM, ET, led by CBS News correspondent Bill Rehkopf from Washington. Rehkopf will be joined by correspondents Steven Portnoy, Steve Dorsey and CBS News Radio political consultant Leonard Steinhorn.
