Here are 5 things we will be watching for at NAB 2019:
#1 Next Gen Over-the-Air TV 3.0
The new 3.0 standard for over-the-air TV is likely still a year away from being widely available, but at NAB look for a few next gen OTA TVs.
#2 Antennas
As OTA 3.0 gets closer to launch keep an eye out for new antennas at the NAB show. Also, maybe some OTA ATSC 3.0 Tuners…
#3 Streaming
In years past many booths had something about streaming—from ways for broadcasters to stream content easier and cheaper to ways to make the quality better. Keep an eye out for new tech aimed at making streaming better.
#4 Streaming Players
Typically, someone announces some type of streaming player. Keep an eye out for smaller companies to push a streaming player but don’t look for anything from Roku, Fire TV, or Apple TV.
#5 New Streaming Services
We often hear about new streaming services launching at NAB from smaller companies. So, keep an eye out for smaller streaming services to be announced or existing ones to announce new features.
