Cricket Wireless just launched 5G coverage for its customers nationwide, along with a Simply Data Rate Plan that gives you 100GB of data for $90/month. Here’s what the 5G means for Cricket Wireless customers:

  • Quick downloads for viewing of on-demand entertainment.
  • Low latency so that gamers can play their favorite mobile games.
  • A broad range of connectivity whether they’re at home or on-the-go.
  • Increased capacity to transmit massive amounts of data to and from connected devices.

You’ll need a 5G capable smartphone to access Cricket’s new 5G, like the Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G, available for $1,199.99. With this device, you can access 5G on any of Cricket Wireless’s Simply Data plans.

Right now, Cricket is also offering new customers a free 30-day trial to HBO Max, up from the typical 7-day pass the streaming service offers by default. The promo is good for new Cricket customers only and those who haven’t already redeemed free trials for either HBO Max or HBO Now.
