CuriosityStream announced in its Q4 report today that it has reached 15 million subscribers, a 50% increase year over year.

CuriosityStream is the streaming home of science, technology, and history content, with thousands of titles including originals. Explore your favorite topics, learn about new subjects, and indulge your inner geek with thousands of original and specially selected series, specials, and shorts. In the content library, you’ll find titles about everything from dinosaurs to space travel.

“We had a strong 2020, ending the year with more than double our 2019 revenue with approximately 15 million subscribers,” said Clint Stinchcomb, President & CEO. “More recently, we raised approximately $100 million in a follow-on offering completed in February of this year. We enter 2021 with a strong balance sheet, one of the largest libraries of factual content in the world and a world-class team of experienced media executives executing strongly against our plans. I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished in 2020, and I look forward to 2021.”

You can subscribe to CuriosityStream for $2.99/month for HD streaming or the Premium plan for $9.99/month with 4K streaming of many shows and movies available on the service.
