Yesterday DIRECTV NOW quietly added more CBS affiliates including affiliates in Tampa, Florida and Washington DC.

Tenga owns 10 CBS affiliates, and we are unsure how many of them have been added. Recently DIRECTV NOW has not been waiting for all the locals from one owner. Instead they have been rolling out a few locals here and there.

With these new channels, DIRECTV NOW offers 250+ local channels in over 90 markets, reaching over 80% of US TV households. All four major networks are available in over 40% of US TV households.

DIRECTV NOW recently announced that they now offer locals in over 75% of the United States with at least 1 local and in a growing number of markets you will find multiple locals. This puts PlayStation VueYouTube TV, and DIRECTV NOW in a tight race for locals behind Hulu who now has well over 400 live locals.

DIRECTV NOW has been saying for some time that subscribers should expect more locals to be added to DIRECTV NOW in the weeks and months to come.
