Today DIRECTV NOW started to add AccuWeather just a few weeks after they dropped Weather Nation from their lineup. We are now receiving reports of AccuWeather showing up on some devices as AT&T rolls out the new channel.

A few weeks ago DIRECTV NOW sent Cord Cutters News the following statement on this change. “We offer several different options for DIRECTV and DIRECTV NOW customers to stay updated on weather conditions. We are adding AccuWeather Network to DIRECTV starting Wednesday, Aug. 1 and to DIRECTV NOW soon after. We continue to offer The Weather Channel, local broadcast stations, and dedicated emergency channels available in times of severe weather.”

DIRECTV NOW also has The Weather Channel and is one of the few live TV streaming services to offer the channel. With DIRECTV NOW replacing WeatherNation with the AccuWeather Network they are the only streaming service with both AccuWeather and the Weather Channel.

We can confirm that AccuWeather is in the Go Big plan on DIRECTV NOW. Do you see it in other plans? Leave us a comment and let us now.
