Teenager girl with remote control laying down and watching tv eating popcorn. It has been a busy few weeks for AT&T’s live TV streaming service DIRECTV NOW. Twice DIRECTV NOW has expanded its list of apps you can use your login on. Now it has expanded the list again.

DIRECTV NOW has added support for the much in demand FOX SPORTS GO apps. Even though it is not officially listed on DIRECTV NOW’s site we have confirmed that your login will work on FOX SPORTS GO apps. We have tested it on mobile devices and streaming players such as the Fire TV and Roku. All of them work as of today. It also seems they have added access to the CNBC app. (As reported a few days ago the NBC app is also supported but not listed.)

The following are all of the apps that DIRECTV NOW lists on its site:

  • ABC
  • BTN2GO(Big Ten)
  • Bravo Now
  • Disney
  • Disney Jr.
  • Disney XD
  • E! Now
  • ESPN(WatchESPN)
  • FOX Now
  • Freeform
  • FX Now
  • HBO GO(requires premium subscription to HBO)
  • MAX GO(requires premium subscription to Cinemax)
  • MSNBC Now
  • NatGeo(currently unavailable on Apple iOS)
  • NBC Universo Now
  • NBC Golf
  • NBC Sports
  • Oxygen Now
  • Sprout Now
  • Syfy Now
  • Telemundo Now
  • USA NOW

Remember: If you have AT&T wireless and do not want DIRECTV NOW streaming to count against your data cap (if you have one) you will need to use the DIRECTV NOW app. Using apps such as WatchESPN or BTN2GO (Big 10 Network) will count against any data usage. (You could switch to a reseller such as Toast.net to get the same Internet without the data cap.)

Access to these apps often gives you access to even more on-demand content than you get from DIRECTV NOW. This makes these apps very popular with many cord cutters.
