friends watching football on TVLast night DIRECTV NOW quietly added the NFL Network. Many had hoped this would mean the NFL Redzone would also be added. Sadly DIRECTV NOW has confirmed to Cord Cutters News that there will be no NFL Redzone. If you want ESPN, NFL Network, and NFL Redzone you will need Sling TV or PlayStation Vue.

According to DIRECTV NOW the NFL Network is available to subscribers of the Just Right package and higher. That means DIRECTV NOW has the highest starting price for the NFL Network. Sling TV starts at $35, fuboTV starts at $45, and PlayStation Vue starts at $50 a month. DIRECTV NOW is also the only service that has the NFL Network but does not offer an option for the NFL Redzone network.

DIRECTV NOW also said in a statement on their site “Coming soon, DIRECTV NOW customers will also have access to stream NFL Network through Watch NFL Network, available on NFL.com and the NFL app across connected TV and mobile devices.”
