This week DIRECTV NOW quietly added more FOX and NBC affiliates. This continues DIRECTV NOW’s race to catch up with Hulu how now has over 400 live locals. Right now PlayStation Vue and DIRECTV NOW are fighting for second place in the race for live locals.
Now for the second time in a week DIRECTV NOW has added more Sinclair owned FOX affiliates with the addition of KABB FOX San Antonio, TX. Recently DIRECTV NOW also added WBFF FOX 45 in Baltimore, Maryland also a Sinclair owned Fox affiliate.
Unlike other services DIRECTV NOW is adding locals as soon as they are ready vs waiting for a group of locals and making them all live at once. Keep an eye out for a slow flood of a local here and a local there from DIRECTV NOW.
