Authentic scrambled reception on a TV screenAbout an hour ago DIRECTV NOW went down according to reports for our readers. The outage seems to be scattered through parts of the Midwest, Northeast, and East coast of the United States. Right now if you try to access a channel you are told that the channel is not apart of your package and you need to upgrade. Even for channels included in the basic DIRECTV NOW package. This seems to be a DIRECTV NOW wide glitch and has been happening for a bit now.

Update #3: DIRECTV NOW is back online.

We’re aware of this and currently work to rectify it as quickly as possible. Thanks for your time and patience! ^NdyE

Details are still thin but if you can’t get in don’t worry it is not you but DIRECTV NOW itself is down. So far DIRECTV NOW and AT&T have not commented on what is happening.

Down Detector is now also reporting DIRECTV NOW as down.

This is breaking news we will update this post as we learn more.
