Today AT&T announced that DIRECTV NOW is now available on 2017 and 2018 Samsung Smart TVs. Samsung TVs join a growing list of supported devices including Rokus, Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Tablets, Phones, and web browsers.

“After setting up a compatible Samsung Smart TV, DIRECTV NOW will appear in the “Smart Hub” carousel as one of the curated options. If you already own one of these TVs or don’t see the app, you can easily find it by searching for “DIRECTV NOW” in the Samsung TV app store.” AT&T said in a statement on their website.

This new addition comes a week after DIRECTV NOW raised their price $5 a month. Part of that email said that DIRECTV NOW wanted to expand device support. This week they followed through by adding DIRECTV NOW to Samsung TVs.

This is likely not the end of DIRECTV NOW’s roll out to new devices. Android TV, for example, is still not supported but has long been rumored.
