    A whopping 3 NBC affiliates.

Why would you have three NBC stations? That seems highly unusual.

The list they posted today says of the 25 channels they added, only 3 are NBC.

    A-aaaaaaaaaaaaaad, say it with me….

Still no Birmingham. The Birmingham black-out continues.

Top 50 media market with ZERO local stations carried on ANY streaming provider.

Sounds like the owners of your affiliates are just slow to get the stations online. Most of them have only cut deals in the last 3 months or so to even have any of their stations on streaming services. So it will come but its not an overnight process especially if the stations need technical upgrades to make it happen.

I understand it can be a slow process. However, I’m lamenting the fact that out of the 49 other top 50 media markets in the US, the city of Birmingham (which is the 50th largest media market in the US), is only 1 of 2 which has ZERO, let me say that again ZEEEE-ROW, locals on ANY, again Eeee-Neeee, streaming provider. Sad!

Sounds to me like a Birmingham issue, not necessarily a streaming service issue. Don’t you agree?

for sure, it sounds like the Birmingham TV guys don’t want to face the future and would rather die off completely.

Do you happen to know what the process is for getting a local station onto a streaming service? What actually has to take place? Does the station pay for being picked up by a streaming service or does the streaming service pay the station? I’d really like to understand how it all works. Thanks for any info you might have on this.

Same with Boston. Where is Fox? I know that Boston gets CBS in September? We just need Fox.

Wondering… how big of a TV market do you live in? Is it near a major city? I live in Rapid City, SD – the middle of nowhere, actually – and we have yet to see any local stations added to our lineup. It’s a mountainous area and I live where there are no OTA signals.

This is great if I move to sales tax free Montana.
I just wish they were tech hub that Denver is. Also I wish they got the new movies that Denver does. I hate movie ads only to find out that it is another limited release film ? that never shows.

no CW in his list or no CW on streaming services? if on streaming services it’s because it’s pointless to pay for, CW puts ALL there shows online for free via there app and website, no point in paying fro something that is FREE.

I live in the Houston area and we have been devastated by recent events. It would be nice if DTVNow had local affiliates and programing for CBS and NBC so residents have access to all up to date information and channels. I guess that is why most still pay their cable/satellite services.

Another cord cutters post this week had several additions for the Detroit area. This one does not list any but does have 1 ABC addition for Grand Rapids area. Clean across state from Detroit. Not sure why the omission.
