DIRECTV NOW Just Added Several New NBC Affiliates Last Night

Last night with no announcement AT&T added several NBC affiliates to their live TV streaming service DIRECTV NOW.

As best we can tell Cleveland Ohio, Charlotte North Carolina, Denver Colorado, Atlanta Georgia, and Portland Oregon have been added. Most of these stations seem to be some of the 18 Tenga owned NBC affiliates. Now that does not mean all of them will be added as recently DIRECTV NOW has been rolling out affiliates as they are ready vs waiting till all of them are ready.

This is the second time this month that DIRECTV NOW has added more affiliates. Earlier this month AT&T officially announced that they added more ABC, FOX, and NBC affiliates. AT&T did state that they plan to add 40 more locals from ABC, NBC, and FOX but at this time they have not listed what markets will see new local affiliates added.

If you find a local that is being added please leave us a comment and let us know what you found. We have reached out to AT&T to inquire about what locals have been added and will post an update when we learn more.

NBC Charlotte is now listed. What’s up with all the Raycom owned Stations???

WCNC 36: Charlotte’s home of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! and I do get that station manly at night on some nights over the air in Greenwood, SC because it’s 100 miles from TV towers. I’m in the Greenville, SC/Asheville, NC market. Also my ABC station WLOS 13 in my market carries Wheel and J! too since 1985.

WRAL (Raleigh, NC NBC affiliate) appears to have been dropped as of last night or this morning.

According to a reply from Directv Now Help on Twitter, there’s been a “disagreement” with WRAL and they are working to resolve.

I just got off DNow chat and she had no clue what the issue was. Thanks for posting this. I thought I was delusional there for a minute. Lol

When searching for WRAL on DirecTV NOW, the results are only for news and require additional subscription costs (note the $ icon). However, when trying to add it, DirecTV NOW states you can only watch what you’re subscribed to. Looks like I’ll be watching WTVD (ABC) from now on.

I’m still not seeing it on my channel guide.

Make sure to select ‘All Channels’ then scroll down to the N’s as the new channel will be listed as “NBC”.
