Yesterday we reported that new NBC affiliates had started to show up on AT&T’s live TV streaming service DIRECTV NOW.

At the time we did not know the full list of locals that DIRECTV NOW was releasing. Now AT&T has sent us the full list of NBC affiliates it added last week.

The following are the new NBC affiliates:

  • NBC-WXIA – Atlanta, GA
  • NBC-KING – Seattle-Tacoma, WA
  • NBC-KARE – Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN
  • NBC-KUSA – Denver, CO
  • NBC-WKYC – Cleveland, OH
  • NBC-KSDK – St. Louis, MO
  • NBC-WCNC – Charlotte, NC
  • NBC-KGW – Portland, OR

This is the second time this month that DIRECTV NOW has added more affiliates. Earlier this month AT&T officially announced that it added more ABC, FOX, and NBC affiliates. AT&T did state that it plans to add 40 more locals from ABC, NBC, and FOX but at this time it has not listed what markets will see new local affiliates added.

DIRECTV NOW, Hulu, PlayStation Vue, and even fuboTV are locked in a battle to add the most locals. It seems that not even a week goes by without at least one of the services adding a new set of locals.

At this rate, in a year or two most locals will be streaming on a live TV service such as DIRECTV NOW.
