Latin woman looking disappointed at her laptopscreen, sitting behind her desk at the office. If you are still waiting for your DVR invite, you are in luck. AT&T has recently picked up the rate that they have started to invite DIRECTV NOW subscribers into the DIRECTV NOW app and DVR beta.

Yesterday AT&T sent out a large number of invites to the Fire TV version of the DIRECTV NOW app and DVR beta; however, many readers are saying the invites are going into their spam folder. So if you want access to the beta so make sure to check your spam folder. As best we can tell AT&T is sending out DVR invites every few days according to a flood of emails we are getting from readers.

All signs are pointing to the DIRECTV NOW DVR coming out soon. The only hold up maybe the recent stability issues DIRECTV NOW has experienced likely caused by the flood of new beta testers. It looks like AT&T is running a final stress test on the new DIRECTV NOW app and DVR.

It is likely that AT&T is in the process of getting the back end ready to hold up to a flood of new users. For now, we will have to wait and see when AT&T launches their new DIRECTV NOW app and DVR.
