Shortly after the start of game 3 of the NBA Finals DIRECTV NOW crashed hard. Not only for users watching the NBA Finals but for all users.

Update: DIRECTV NOW is back online.

Here is what DownDetector looked like shortly after game 3 of the NBA Finals started:

This comes after AT&T rolled out DIRECTV NOW 2.0 to Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, Android, and iOS users. Many have complained that the new app is experiencing higher than normal buffering issues during primetime viewing. The new DIRECTV NOW 2.0 is it has left many upset with recent outages.

If you want to watch game 3 with DIRECTV NOW we suggest logging into the ESPN app with your DIRECTV NOW login or an antenna. Or take advantage of a free trial of services like Hulu, Sling TVPlayStation Vue, etc.

This is a breaking news and we will update this story as we learn more.
